Sherry Alvis

Hartselle Mrs. Sherry Alvis passed away on Monday, January 27, 2025, at her residence. She was born July 26, 1946, in Georgia, to Edward Smith and Genie Mae Ford. Sherry was a loving mother, grandmother, and great grandmother who absolutely loved spending time with her grandchildren and great grandchildren. She will be missed by her family and friends. Preceding her in death were her parents; her husband, Hoyt Alvis; and a grandson, Glen Stout. Survivors include her son, Gary S. Lawson (Alisa); daughters, Melissia Lowery (Jeff), and Tara L. Henderson (Daniel); sister, Linda Glenn; ten grandchildren and twenty great grandchildren. No services are scheduled at this time.
