Leonard ‘Lee’ King

Hartselle A funeral service for Leonard “Lee” King, 90, was held Monday, January 27, 2025, at 11:00 AM at Peck Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Larry Compton officiating. Burial was in Midway Memorial Gardens. Mr. King died on Friday, January 24, 2025, at his residence. He was born June 4, 1934, in Morgan County, to Leonard King and Annie King. Prior to his retirement, he was self-employed as a Carpenter. Preceding him in death were his parents; brothers, Bobbie King, Jimmy King, James King and Leslie King; and sisters, Elue Mae Kelmback, Nina Jean Wooten, Mattie Gail King, Ruby Frink and Kitty Parker. Survivors include his wife and companion, Sandra Brooks Wimberly; a brother, Fulton King; sisters, Bertha Ann Houston, Dorothy Shearer, Margaret Kemper; and lots of nieces and nephews. Pallbearers will be friends and family.
