College Street Players to present Alice in Wonderland

College Street Players newest show “Alice in Wonderland Jr” will soon be here. Directors Dynette Weeks and Marcia Sartin are excited to share the show with close to 2,000 students this year and our local communities. Weeks stated this was ‘the perfect fit’ for this spring season, it is a story both young and old will enjoy. A large cast of almost 100 children will be able to shine this spring with nearly 60 percent of the cast being return actors. It stars Stella Sartin as Alice, Penelope Rodgers as Mad Hatter and McKellen Brown as the White Rabbit. Theatergoers will see three different performers for the Cheshire Cat: Darcy Russell, Sarabeth Weeks and Tinsley Wallace. Melissa Brown is the play’s music director and Lauren Norton is the play’s costume designer. This show will be held Feb. 20-22 at 7 p.m. each night and a matinee at 2 p.m. Feb. 22 at Hartselle High School. Tickets are available at the door or online for $12 for general admission, $10 for students and seniors and three and under are free.
