Doris Brown Lindsey

Moulton A Graveside Funeral service and Interment for Doris Brown Lindsey, 89, was held Friday, January 24, 2025, at 1 p.m. at Oak Ridge Cemetery with Pastor Scott Cramer officiating and Peck Funeral Home directing. Ms. Lindsey passed away on Monday, January 20, 2025, at National Healthcare Moulton. She was born April 24, 1935, in Morgan County, to Willie Lee Brown and Bama Leoda Thomas Brown. Prior to her retirement, she was employed in production for Wolverine Tube. She was a wonderful mother and grandmother. Preceding her in death were her parents; her siblings, Charles Powell, Jeff Powell and Lisa Whitten; and grandchildren, Tiffany Powell and Jessie James Powell. Survivors include daughters, Rita Townsend (Wade B.), Mona Parker, Tina Childers and Jennifer Askew (Bryan); son, Chris Powell; sister, Martha Shipley; 13 grandchildren and seventeen great grandchildren.
