Prep roundup: West Morgan girls take down Brewer

SOMERVILLE – Jordyn Free dropped a gamehigh 25 points to lead West Morgan to a 59-42 win over Brewer Jan. 16.
Chasity Rikard finished with 12 points and 11 rebounds, while Maddie Letson and Raygen Muse each had 10 points.
Khloe Grandstaff led Brewer with 18 points.
Ardmore girls 68, Brew-er 48: Liz Lewtor scored 13 points and Chelsea Bryan added 12 as Ardmore defeated Brewer Jan. 14.
Lexi Gray added 11, while Kaylea Rengar had 10. Andee Emerson led Brewer with 11.
Athens Bible girls 68, Huntsville Christian 36: Brooke Blakely had a monster game for the Trojans on Tuesday as Athens Bible raced past Hunts-ville Christian.
Avery Boggs added 12 points.
Good Hope girls 41, West Morgan 31: Jordyn Free led the Rebels with 15 points as they suffered an area loss Jan. 14.
West Morgan boys 87, Good Hope 82 (OT): Josh Garland scored a gamehigh 27 points on Tuesday as West Morgan picked up a massive area win over Good Hope, which was previously undefeated in area play.
Keelan Murphy finished with 21 points, while Landon Henderson added 18.
Falkville boys 65, Winston County 63: Eli Harris finished with a gamehigh 23 points as Falkville got past Winston County in a tight contest Jan. 14. Cayden Butler added 19 points and Logan Fowler scored 12.
