Hartselle Funeral service for Virginia Stansell, 76, was held Saturday, January 11, 2025, at 1:00 PM at Peck Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Jarrod Helms officiating. Burial was in Hopewell Cemetery. Mrs. Stansell died on Monday, January 6, 2025. She was born April 20, 1948, in Cullman County, to Emmitt Hendrix and Bertha Lee Twilley Hendrix. Prior to her retirement, she was employed by Belk as a salesclerk. She was a wonderful wife, mother and grandmother. Preceding her in death were her parents; a brother, J.C. Hendrix; a sister, Faye Morton; and two great grandchildren. Survivors include her husband, Gene Stansell; sons, Randal Eugene Stansell (Martha), and Doug Stansell; daughters, Tina Stansell, Vicki Garcia (Adan); sister. Eva Eisenring; six grandchildren; and 10 great grandchildren. Pallbearers were Seth Cody, Jacob Cody, Adan Garcia, Randal Stansell, Doug Stansell, and Lucas Stansell.
