Falkville A funeral service for Barbara Jarrett Brown, 86, was held Thursday, January 9, 2025, at 1:00 PM at Peck Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Scott Delashaw officiating. Burial was in Andrews Chapel Cemetery. Mrs. Brown died on Saturday, January 4, 2025, at Falkville Health Care Center. She was born January 2, 1939, in Morgan County, to John Luther “J.L.” Jarrett and Maggie Naylor Jarrett. She was a homemaker for her family and a wonderful wife, mother and grandmother. Preceding her in death were her parents; her husband, Hank Brown; her brothers, James Jarrett and Ricky Jarrett; and a sister, Joyce Ward. Survivors include her son, Mike Brown (Mandy); brother, John Jarrett; sister, Pat Griffith (Charles); grandchildren, Stephen Brown and Sadie Brown. Nephews served as pallbearers.
