Priceville, Falkville pick up two wins

Priceville and Falkville each picked up two wins last week to open the new year, while Danville picked up one.
Priceville girls 68, Jasper 51 Leah Childress finished with a double-double, 27 points and 10 steals, in the Lady Bulldogs 68-51 win over Jasper. Lillyan Bloodworth added 10 points and four assists, while Amberleigh Dean had five points and five rebounds.
Priceville girls 78, Alma Bryant 48
Childress finished with 18 points, seven rebounds and five assists in a 78-48 win over 7A Alma Bryant. Madlyn Williams added 16 points, while Amberleigh Dean had eight points, five rebounds and four assists.
Danville girls 54, Hatton 29 Lanie Martin led the Lady Hawks with 19 points and five steals in a 54-29 win over Hatton. Addison Prater added 14 points and five rebounds.
Belgreen girls 55, Danville 51 Adily Alberti had 19 points, five steals and five rebounds in Danville’s 55-51 loss to Belgreen. Prater added a double-double, 13 points and 10 rebounds.
Falkville 56, Addison 41
Leah Pierce finished with 36 points to lead the Lady Blue Devils to a 56-41 win over Addison last Friday. Kaitlyn Bullard added eight points, while Peyton Holloway had five.
Falkville 58, Lindsay Lane 30 Pierce led Falkville with 27 points in their 58-30 win over Lindsay Lane. Maggie Halbrooks added 11 points, while Bullard had eight.
Boaz 45, Brewer 31
Hannah Morrison finished with a double-double, 11 points and 10 rebounds along with three blocks in the Lady Patriots 45-31 loss to Boaz.
Arab 72, Brewer 45
Morrison finished with 15 points, seven rebounds and two blocked shots in the Lady Patriots 72-45 loss to Arab. Keylyn Stapler added nine points, six rebounds and two assists.
Brewer 57, Rogers 56
Morrison finished with 17 points, eight rebounds and three blocked shots in the Lady Patriots 57-56 win over Rogers. Kassidy Whisenant added 12 points and five rebounds, while Stapler added nine points, nine rebounds and three steals.
