Michael Joseph Latham
Bessemer A funeral service for Micheal Joseph Latham, 73, was held Thursday, January 2, 2025, at 1:00 PM at Peck Funeral Home Chapel. Burial was in Rock Creek Baptist Church Cemetery. Mr. Latham died on Tuesday, December 24, 2024, at his residence. He was born on November 10, 1951, in Michigan, to Joseph Albert and Carolyn Sue Murphree Latham. Mr. Latham was a U.S. Army veteran and retired from Acipco Company after 20 years. He always said he was full of useless information. He was extremely humble and would help anyone that needed help. He will be greatly missed. He was preceded in death by his parents. Survivors include two sons, Austin Latham (Sarah) and Brian Latham (Brandy); daughter, Barbara Jean Parker (Johnny); brother, Phillip Scott Latham (Tricia;) sister, Kathy Latham Harris (Rick), five grandchildren, Dalton Latham, David Latham, Jennifer Whitfield, Jessica Simpson, and Jacob Parker; two great grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews.
