Guy Junior Porter

Hartselle A Memorial service for Guy Junior Porter, 94, was held Saturday, January 4, 2025, at 1:00 PM at Peck Funeral Home Chapel with Phillip Hines officiating. Mr. Porter died on Monday, December 30, 2024, at his residence. He was born July 23, 1930, in Cullman County, to William Guy Porter and Ophelia Pruitt Porter. He was employed as a Press Operator for Fruehauf prior to his retirement. Preceding him in death were his parents; his wife, Ruby Porter; his son, Freddie Porter; his daughter, Nancy Porter Copeland; brothers, Ray, Herman and Herschel Lee Porter; and sisters, Mildred Leigeber and Dorothy Jean Porter. Survivors include his nieces and nephews. In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial donations be made to St. Jude Children’s Hospital.
