Dedra W. Merriman

Falkville Funeral services for Dedra W. Merriman, 63, of Falkville were held Thursday, January 2, 2025, at 3:00 PM at Peck Funeral Home Chapel. Mrs. Merriman was born May 16, 1961, in Huntsville to Clinton Talmadge Waters and Fay Young Waters. She passed away Saturday, December 28, 2024, at Brookwood Medical Center. She was preceded in death by her parents. Dedra retired from AT&T after 30 years. She loved the outdoors and going to fishing tournaments and car races with her husband. She loved trips and vacations and Alabama football. Dedra was a dedicated wife and Godfearing woman. Survivors include her husband of 45 years, Brian Merriman; and sister, Kim Waters Hollingsworth. Pallbearers were Tommy Merriman, Walt Merriman, Travis Blankenship, JJ Puckett, Mike Henning and Brandon Burgett.
