How did you two meet? 

 We have known each other ever since elementary school in Hartselle, but in junior high he was my school crush. We dated for a couple of months in the eighth grade but shortly realized we were too young to “date.” I decided to give him another “chance” sophomore year of high school and we have been together ever since. He went to Auburn and Jacksonville State to play baseball, and I went to Calhoun to dental school. We have been together for nine years this year and we’ve been best friends ever since.  

The Proposal:  

The proposal happened in Nashville at the Gaylord Opryland Hotel during Christmas 2022. My family and I have visited the hotel since I was little, so it was super special to me that he proposed there with our close family.  

What You Are Doing Now: 

We live in Hartselle. He is a teacher and assistant baseball coach at Cullman High School, and I work at Hartselle Family Dentistry.
