Thomas Wayne Aycock

Decatur Funeral services for Thomas Wayne Aycock, 66, will be Wednesday, Dec. 18, 2024, at 3 p.m. at BComing Church with Pastor I.V. Marsh officiating. Peck Funeral Home will direct the service. Visitation will be from 2 to 3 p.m. at the church. Mr. Aycock died Sunday, Dec. 15, 2024, at Decatur Morgan Hospital. He was born Aug. 6, 1958, in Jefferson County to William ElmerAycock and Nellie Mae Northam Aycock. He worked for 24 years at International Paper and for 4 years at J.M. Smucker before retiring. A member of BComing Church, he was an avid Auburn Tigers fan. His mother preceded him in death.

Survivors include his wife, Gayle Aycock; sons, Daniel Aycock (Keri) and Brad Aycock; daughters, Kristan Stanton (Michael) and Emily Aycock (Beecher); father, William Elmer Aycock; sisters, Lisa Terry and Cathy Pruitt (Hobert); and grandchildren, Mally Stanton, Layla Stanton, Jack Stanton, Adleigh Aycock, Ruby Grace Brown, and Beecher Lee Tripp Brown.
