Sharon “Libby” Jenkins
Hartselle Sharon “Libby” Jenkins, 75, of Hartselle, died Tuesday, Dec. 17, 2024, at Huntsville Hospital. She was born Jan. 7, 1949, in Tennessee to Joseph Franklin Riddle and Maddie Lucille Finney Riddle. She worked as a clerk at SCI before her retirement. Her hobbies included woodworking, crocheting, and cooking.
She was preceded in death by her parents; siblings Betty Riddle, Kathleen Richards, Eddye Riddle, J.D. Riddle, and Sue Blye; and a niece, Linda Carter.
Survivors include her longtime friend and partner, Tammy Johnson; son, Douglas Jenkins Jr.; grandchildren, Zakary Jenkins, Marissa Wimbs, Ashten Preedin, Reece Preedin, and Maize Hampton; nieces, Derita Redmon, Becky Clower, and Carol; nephew, David Richards; and very special friend, Michael Addie.
