Decatur A graveside funeral service for Patricia Conner Woodall Steele, 59, was held Friday, Dec. 13, 2024, at 2:30 p.m. at Roselawn Mausoleum with Bro. Doug Moody officiating and Peck Funeral Home directing.
Mrs. Steele passed away on Sunday, Dec. 8, 2024, at Madison Hospital. She was born Aug. 24, 1965, in Morgan County to Evans B. Conner and Mary E. McNeese Conner. Patricia worked in management and supervision for ServPro before her passing. Preceding her in death were her husband, Ernest “Buster” Woodall; her parents; and sister, Becky Conner-Sutterer. Survivors include brothers, James “Bud” Rouse (Gera) and Charles Rouse; sister, Donna Taylor; grandchildren, Kayden Edge and Colby Defoe; nephew, Kale Rouse (Jessica); nieces, Katherine Rouse and Katherine Taylor; greatnephews, Weston Rouse, Tru Taylor, and Sutton Rouse; great-nieces, Bellarae Rouse and Remi Lou Rouse; and two individuals she considered her children, John Riley Edwards and Amanda Edwards. Pallbearers will be Lee Simons, Kale Rouse, John Riley Edwards, Thomas Cody Schrimscher, Tom Little, James Nelson, and David Taylor. Honorary pallbearers will be Kayden Edge and Colby Defoe.
