Ernest O. Atwood

Huntsville Funeral Service for Ernest O. Atwood, 70, of Huntsville will be Thursday, December 5, 2024, at 12:00PM at Valhermoso Baptist Church with Bro, Craye Hall officiating with burial in the Valhermoso Baptist Church Cemetery with Peck Funeral Home directing. Visitation will be Thursday from 11 a.m. until 12 p.m. at the church. Mr. Atwood was born December 3, 1953, in Bangor Maine to Ernest Leroy Atwood and Maxine F. Smith Atwood. He passed away Friday, November 29, 2024, at Hospice Family Care. Ernest was preceded in death by his parents.

Survivors include two sons, Jason Atwood (Anita King) and Jared Atwood; brother, David Smith; sister, Faye Witham (Roscoe); family dog, Dolly.

Honorary Pallbearers will be Jack Olson, David Smith and Roscoe Witham.
