Brewer, Priceville win three at Thanksgiving Classic

The Brewer Patriots and Priceville Bulldogs each won three games at the recent Marx Optical Thanksgiving Classic at Priceville High School. The Patriots defeated John Carroll, West Limestone and Lauderdale County, while the Bulldogs defeated Rogers, Hatton and John Carroll.
Brewer 73, John Carroll 57 Jackson Dunn finished with 21 points and eight rebounds to lead Brewer to a 73-57 win over John Carroll Catholic. Cam Ballinger added 19 points and six rebounds, while Casen Oden had 11 points, nine rebounds and five assists.
Brewer 59, West Limestone 33
Dunn finished with 17 points in Brewer’s 59-33 win over West Limestone. Cason Oden added 12 points and seven rebounds.
Brewer 59, Lauderdale County 46 Oden finished with 18 points, 10 rebounds and three steals to lead Brewer to a 59-46 win over Lauderdale County. Ballinger added 14 points and six rebounds, while Dunn had 11 points and five assists.
Priceville 58, Hatton 31 Colman Gann finished with a double-double, 18 points and 10 rebounds, in Priceville’s 58-31 win over Hatton. Sammy Holmes added 16 points, six assists and four steals, while Luke Hood had 10 points, five rebounds and five assists.
Priceville 75, Rogers 69 Holmes finished with 23 points and three steals in the Bulldogs’ 75-69 win over Rogers. Gann added 16 points and six rebounds, while Hood had 12 points, nine assists and four rebounds.
Priceville 72, John Carroll 66
Holmes finished with 33 points as Priceville defeated John Carroll 72-66 to close out the Marx Optical Thanksgiving Classic. Gann added 12 points while Evan Hopkins had 11 points.
Falkville 83, Cullman Christian 24 Cayden Butler finished with a game-high 29 points and five steals in Falkville’s 83-24 win over Cullman Christian. Denver Comstock had a double-double, 14 points and 12 rebounds, while Eli Harris added 11 points.
Danville 67, Woodville 44 Tristyn Barrett and Donald Walker each scored 16 points to lead Danville to a 67-44 win over Woodville. Jeremy Cordova finished with 12 points.
