residence. He was born July 23, 1939, in Morgan County, to William Orman King and Francis Inez McCaghren King. He was employed by Delta Airlines, as a manager for the mechanics, working on jet engines, prior to his retirement. He was a loving husband, father and grandfather, who proudly served in the U.S. Air Force for four years. He was an avid Alabama football fan. Preceding him in death were his parents and a nephew, Lynn King. Survivors include his wife, Diane King; son, Tim King (Donna); daughter, Debbie Rogers (Bill); brothers, Jimmy King, Jerry King; five grandchildren; and one great grandchild.
