Who do you expect to have a big year? I expect big things from all three of our seniors (Lanie Martin, Maddie Sherrill, and Aubrey Reed)-they all have key roles that they are very capable of filling.
Quoting coach: “We are super excited about this season. It will be a challenge moving to 4A, but these girls all work super hard and well together. The girls love each other like a family. They work super hard daily, and they always play hard and never give up.” What do the Lady Hawks need to do to be successful? We have to play good defense and make people uncomfortable.
Area outlook: “It is a challenging area and a tough crossover, but we plan to work super hard to do the best we can and advance out of our area to the postseason. It all starts with the defending 4A State Champions, Good Hope. They have lost valuable experience from last year’s team, but they will reload and return to the top. West Morgan and East Lawrence return experienced rosters. Nothing will come easy in this area.”
