High school basketball began last week and fans saw fantastic performances from players in Morgan County.
Girls Adily Alberti, Danville: Alberti finished with 26 points in a 55-44 win over Lawrence County.
Hannah Burks, Hartselle: Burks had 20 points in a 71-34 win over Brewer.
Mary Frances Itsede, Hartselle: Itsede had 20 points and nine rebounds in a 65-34 win over Springville.
Leah Pierce, Falkville: Pierce had 20 points in a 38-28 loss to Meek.
Leah Childress, Priceville: Childress had 18 points in a 54-41 loss to Bob Jones while finishing with 17 points and nine assists in a 56-46 win over Decatur.
Karson Boyer, Hartselle: Boyer finished with a career-high 17 points in a 71-34 win over Brewer.
Anna Hampton Burroughs, Hartselle: Burroughs had a career-high 11 rebounds in a 71-34 win over Brewer.
