Hartselle Funeral service for Samantha Anne Dinkle, 52, will be Saturday, November 9, 2024 at 11:00 AM at the Church of Jesus Christ of the Latter-Day Saints with Bishop Steven Smith officiating and Peck Funeral Home directing. Burial will be in Piney Grove Cemetery in Lacon. Visitation will be Friday, November 8, 2024 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Church. Mrs. Dinkle passed away on Monday, November 4, 2024 at Huntsville Hospital. She was born September 29, 1972, in Minnesota, to Brockman Self and Jacquline Jenson. She was a loving wife and mother to “Precious, Peaches, Muffin, and Kono”, and she was a homemaker for her family. She loved life and leaves behind many memories. She graduated from Lakeland High School and had a Bachelor’s of Science degree in Social Work, from the University of North Alabama. She will always be remembered by her brothers and sisters-in-laws, Brian, Cheryl, Vicie and Wayne and Alicia, along with all of her other family. Preceding her in death were her grandparents; Chilton and Allison Jenson, and Kenneth and Marjorie Self. Survivors include; her Husband – Dennis Dinkle Mother – Jacquline Jenson Carver (Jim) Father Brockman Self (Mary Ellen) Sister – Mellanie Sosnowchik (Jeff ) Pallbearers will be family and friends.
