Earl Barnett

Hartselle A funeral service for Earl Barnett, 78, was held Sunday, November 3, 2024, at 11:00 AM at Peck Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Mark Barrier officiating and Peck Funeral Home directing. Burial will be in Somerville Historical Cemetery. Mr. Barnett passed away on October 31, 2024. He was born March 21, 1946, in Morgan County, to Zack Barnett and Gracie Key Barnett. He was employed by Brown’s Recycling, prior to his passing. He was a member of Barnett’s Chapel Church, loved the Lord and enjoyed gospel music. He also loved to work on small engines. Preceding him in death were his wife; Sandra Barnett, his parents; and a granddaughter, Sheree Barnett. The family wishes to extend a special thanks to Hospice of the Valley. Survivors include his son, Dreanan Barnett; daughter, Loretta Barnett Hanners; brothers, Buddy Barnett Rayburn Barnett; sister, Helen Bailey; four grandchildren; Evan Barnett, Molly Beckhum, Joshua Hanners and Corrina Barnett; and six great-grandchildren. Family and friends will serve as pallbearers.
