Awards abound in Hartselle City Schools

I think we are all aware of the quality of schools in Hartselle. I am incredibly proud to write that our school system has received significant recognition highlighting the hard work, dedication, and excellence that define our community. Crestline Elementary School was recently named a National Blue Ribbon School by the Department of Education in Washington, D. C. Additionally, Hartselle High School and Hartselle Junior High were named Schools of Excellence by the A+ College Board. These accolades are a testament to the outstanding efforts of our students, teachers, staff and supportive families.
Crestline Elementary was named a Blue Ribbon School because of dramatic gains in student achievement and superior academic performance. Crestline’s recognition as a Blue Ribbon School affirms our commitment to fostering a strong academic environment where every student can thrive.
This honor doesn’t come without dedication. It reflects the continuous effort of our educators, their support and our students’ hard work. From innovative teaching methods to a focus on the whole child, Crestline Elementary stands out as a beacon of what is possible when a school community comes together with a shared goal of excellence.
Hartselle High and Hartselle Junior High received their honors because they are recognized as schools that excel in preparing students for college and career readiness through high academic standards, strong graduation rates and a commitment to equity in education. Hartselle Junior High excels in preparing our students to take rigorous Advanced Placement courses once they reach high school. Hartselle High continues this preparation and recently set records in number of courses taken and passing rates.
While these awards are certainly moments of pride, they are not the end of our journey. They serve as motivation to continue pushing for excellence in everything we do. We will continue to invest in innovative educational practices, strengthen our community partnerships and ensure that every student in the Hartselle City Schools system is equipped to succeed.
We are incredibly fortunate to have such a dedicated and passionate school family. Together, we will continue to make Hartselle City Schools a place where every student can succeed and where excellence is the standard.
