Prep football picks for week eight

Two weeks remain and the playoff scenarios are becoming clearer for teams from Morgan County. Austin, Hartselle, West Morgan and Decatur Heritage have all secured top two spots in their regions and all have a chance to win a region championship. Falkville has secured a playoff spot, but whether it is third or fourth will be determined this week. Danville, Brewer, Priceville and Decatur are looking to close out the season on a positive note.
The prep football picks return for a second season during the high school football season. Hartselle Enquirer’s sports writer Russell Frye, along with Dakota Stewart and Priceville Bulldogs sports guru John Keahy, return for year number two. Decatur’s Nick Belovsky joins the picks team this season.
