Danville High School has been named one of 300 high schools nationwide to receive a $5,000 grant as part of T-Mobile’s recently launched “T-Mobile Friday Night 5G Lights” program.
The award will help to support Danville’s football program and upgrades to the stadium.
Danville’s award was announced September 20 and they received the award this past Friday at a school pep rally.
The Friday Night 5G Lights program will also give one small-town school a chance to win a $2 million grand prize football field technology makeover. In addition, 16 finalists will each receive $25,000, and 300 schools will each receive $5,000 throughout the competition’s entry period to support high school football programs nationwide.
