Morgan County Courthouse reopens after evacuation for bomb threat

The Morgan County Courthouse was reopened after being evacuated this morning for a bomb threat, the Sheriff’s Office said at 12:10 p.m.

The bomb threat was called into the courthouse on Thursday morning, according to a Sheriff’s Office statement issued just after 10 a.m.

Deputies and Decatur police, including a K9 trained in explosives detection, responded to the courthouse and secured the area.
