Funeral service for Wilma Maples, 90, will be Saturday, September 28, 2024, at 11:00 AM at Peck Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Jonallen Stanley officiating and Peck Funeral Home directing. Burial will be in Burningtree Memorial Gardens.

Mrs. Maples died on Wednesday, September 25, 2024, at her residence. She was born October 29, 1933, in Morgan County, to Willie Harris Tipper and Nell Boyd Miller Tipper. She was a homemaker for her family, whom she loved very dearly. She was a huge people person, loved her church and her church family and enjoyed quilting. She received her Real Estate license in the early 1970s.

Preceding her in death were her husband, Willard Maples; her parents, sons, Donnald Maples and Ronnie Maples; brothers, Delmer Tipper and Robert Tipper; grandson, Charlie Seratt; a great-granddaughter and a great grandson. Survivors include sons, Steve Maples (Donna), Larry Maples; daughter, Sandy Maples; daughter-in-law, Cindy Maples; 12 grandchildren, 18 great-grandchildren and nine great-great grandchildren.

Pallbearers will be family and friends.
