Hartselle Holiday Market returns for ninth year
Special to the Enquirer
Kylie Johnson, owner of Hartselle Holiday Market, recently announced the kickoff of preparations for the 9th annual Hartselle Holiday Market. The Market will be held at the Hartselle Civic Center Nov. 2 from 8 a.m. until 3 p.m.
“The Market features local makers and crafters and representatives of nationally popular brands. For the ninth year, we will be showcasing talent from across Hartselle, Morgan County and North Alabama in a comfortable setting.”
Johnson mentioned a new development for this years’ market – a special platform for young entrepreneurs.
“We have added a new twist this year – we have dedicated an area just for young entrepreneurs, makers and crafters. Young people are invited to come and display their quality craft designs, homemade food items and name brand products. This is a simple and fun way of teaching young people how to run a business,” Johnson said.
“Based on the number of early applications we have already received from vendors, we expect another outstanding market (that is) enjoyable for everyone including casual shoppers, hobbyists and collectors,” Johnson said.
This past year was the first year the event was held at the Hartselle Civic Center. The Market featured more than100 businesses and 500 guests.
Business owners seeking to reserve a booth must complete an application. Booth applications can be requested at hartselleholidaymarket@proton.me.
