The Christian music trio CAIN, a sibling group from Hartselle, has been nominated for five Dove Awards.
CAIN rose to prominence with their debut single, “Rise Up (Lazarus)” released in early 2020. Their success continued with another single, “I’m So Blessed, with both singles achieving RIAA Gold® status.
Raised in Hartselle as pastor’s kids, Madison Cain Johnson, Taylor Cain Matz and Logan Cain now live in Nashville. Their first big opportunity came in 2012 when they opened for Dave Barnes. Over the past decade, they’ve headlined their own tour and shared the stage with artists like Chris Tomlin, Zach Williams, Casting Crowns, TobyMac, and others, including performances on the K-LOVE Christmas Tour and the Grand Ole Opry stage. In 2023, they hosted the K-LOVE Fan Awards and wrapped up their first headlining tour, the “Live And In Color Tour,” with Katy Nichole and David Leonard.
This year, CAIN received nominations for Pop/Contemporary Album of the Year for “Jesus Music,” Pop/Contemporary Recorded Song of the Year for “Anymore,” Recorded Music Packaging of the Year for “Jesus Music,” Short Form Music Video of the Year for “Anymore,” and TV Series of the Year for “Chasing CAIN.”
The Dove Awards ceremony will air on TBN on Oct. 4 at 7 p.m. and 9 p.m.
Madison, Taylor and Logan are the children of Charley and Shari Cain, pastors at World Harvest Outreach in Hartselle.
