Danville hangs tough with West Limestone before falling

The Danville Hawks hung tough with West Limestone last Friday before falling 19-6 in region play.

The Hawks took a 6-0 lead in the first quarter when Colby Reed scored on a 15-yard run.

West Limestone tied the game at 6-6 right before halftime. The Wildcats pulled away from Danville with two more scores in the second half.

Danville (2-2, 1-2) will travel to East Lawrence (0-3, 0-2) on Friday to continue region play.

In other games, Priceville fell 48-0 at West Morgan, Falkville dropped to 1-1 in region play with a 42-0 loss to Coosa Christian and Brewer fell to 0-2 in region play with a 41-28 loss to Arab.
