Week one saw rivalry games renewed with Brewer defeating Priceville and Austin overwhelming Decatur. Danville moved to 2-0 for the first time in several years, and West Morgan showed they hadn’t lost a step with a beatdown of Brooks. Decatur Heritage took one on the chin on the road at Addison while Hartselle ran and passed their way to a big win. The prep football picks return for a second season during the high school football season. The Hartselle Enquirer’s sports writer Russell Frye, along with Dakota Stewart and Priceville Bulldogs sports guru John Keahy, return for year number two. Decatur’s Nick Belovsky joins the picks team this season.
