Falkville Funeral service for Cindy Harris Johns, 51, will be Thursday, August 29, 2024 at 3:00 PM at Peck Funeral Home Chapel with Peck Funeral Home directing. Burial will be in Ebenezer Cemetery (East Lacon).
Mrs. Johns died on Monday, August 26, 2024 at Decatur Morgan Hospital. She was born September 4, 1972, in Madison County, to Johnnie Greer Harris and
See OBITS, Page 3 Wanda June Roberts Harris. She was a homemaker for her family and was employed by Ingram Farms Cullman, where she was parts manager, prior to her passing. Preceding her in death were her mother and brother, Joe Harris. Survivors include her husband, Talton Johns; father, Johnnie Greer Harris; sons, Jonathan Johns (Malorie) and Bradley Wilhite; daughters, Sara Johns, Tasha Nacole Christine Johns and Crystal Long (Chris); brother, Alan Harris; sister, Amanda Dougherty; grandchildren, Parker, Oliver, Boone, Olivia, Mia, Katherine-June and Oakley. Pallbearers will be family and friends.

Decatur Funeral service for Richard “Rick” Lee Dubbs, Jr., 62, was held Sunday, September 1, 2024 at 4:00 PM at Peck Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Aaron Kretzschmar officiating and Peck Funeral Home directing. Mr. Dubbs died on Thursday, August 29, 2024 at Decatur Morgan Hospital. He was born October 25, 1961, in Jasper County, Missouri, to Richard Lee Dubbs, Sr. and Mary Evlyn Holley Dubbs. He was employed by Vestis, working route service and sales, prior to his passing. He enjoyed working on his antique Mustang, riding his motorcycle and loved teaching his grandsons to fish. He was a loving husband and father and was always generous with his love and his time. His mother preceded him in death. Survivors include his wife, Carol Lyn Dubbs; daughters, Laura Lyn Maschue and Sarah Evlyn McKillop; father, Richard Lee Dubbs, Sr.; brother, Michael Dubbs (Andee); sister – Pam McCleskey (John) and six grandchildren.
