Annual Falkville Fall Festival set to return next month

The 27th annual Falkville Fall Festival is scheduled to return next months and vendor registration is now open online at falkville. org.

The event is scheduled for Oct. 12 and will take place in downtown Falkville. Featuring live entertainment, a car and tractor show and activities for adults and children, the festivities will begin at 8 a.m. and run until 2:30 p.m.

The annual Color Run 5K that coincides with the festival begins at 8 a.m. and the course will run through the event grounds. This event will begin at Morgan County South Park and will take participants through downtown Falkville. Those interested in participating in the Color Run can also register online.

Vendors, including arts and crafts artisans, as well as food trucks, will line the streets during the festival. Last year more than 100 vendors were present and it has grown every year.

The Falkville Fall Festival is a family-friendly event that is free and open to the public.
