Teresa Diane Clark Jordan

Teresa Diane Clark Jordan, born in New Orleans on May 14, 1969, passed peacefully and gained her wings on May 11, 2024 at Vanderbilt University Hospital in Nashville.
Teresa was best known for her selflessness, fun-loving spirit and making the best out of all situations in her life. She was adopted at birth at Methodist Home Hospital in New Orleans and loved by her Momma, Barbara Eden Clark and Daddy, Egbert “Ed” Clark,JrandraisedinHuntsville with her two sisters, Tammy and Tracie.
She spent most of her adult life in the Hartselle area where she raised three children and enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren.
Teresa enjoyed outdoor activities, traveling, spending time with her family, Alabama and Saints football, and cooking. She always kept New Orleans in her heart and always enjoyed being able to travel back to her birth city whenever she got the chance. In late 2022, Teresa was able to access her original birth certificate and with DNA testing found her birth family. Shegainedmorefamilywithher birth mother, Pam Charbonnet Norred and her sister, Rhonda Pembo. She left as a great mother, sister, aunt, daughter, friend, and Gigi to all her grandchildren.
She was preceeded in death by her dad, Ed, grandmother; Edith, and grandbaby; Simon. She had three sons by birth but claimed all their wives as children and loved them as her own. She is also survived by two sisters and their husbands whom she has always considered brothers. She also had many other aunts, uncles, cousins and friends that she considered family.
Survivors include sons Eric Jordan (Emily Jordan), Dustin Jordan (Molly Freeman, and Anthony Jordan (Carly Jordan); granddaughters Norah Jordan, Quinn Jordan, Cadence Jordan, Meredith Jordan, Saylor Jordan, Keelie Bennett, Rowyn Bennett; grandsons Jack Jordan, Silas Jordan; sisters, Tammy Dawn Clark, (Michael VanConant), and Tracie Clark Morgan, (Whitson Morgan); nephews Hampton Morgan; and nieces Emily Morgan, Haley Morgan, Hannah Morgan, Destinee Bennett (daughter), Skylar Bennett (son) and Kenneth Tanner (significant other).
A celebration of life is scheduled on September 15, 2024, from 12-6 pm at The Witt House in Priceville. All who know Teresa and can share in celebrating her life are welcome to attend. Food and drink vouchers will be provided, and we ask that attendees wear something that represents the city of New Orleans or Saints football.
In lieu of gifts or flowers, the family requests donations be made to: ASPCA, Humane Society or local pet shelters, St. Jude or cancer research centers, and any adoption assistance agencies.
