Eva Frontier Days set to return Sept. 21-28
Special to the Enquirer
Mark your calendars for the annual Eva Frontier Days, a weeklong celebration of community spirit and oldfashioned fun, scheduled to take place from Sept. 21-28 in downtown Eva.
This year’s festivities promise something for everyone, with classic events such as the greased-pig chase, frogjumping contest, and pigcalling competition. These time-honored activities invite participants of all ages to test their skills and enjoy some friendly competition.
The celebration kicks off with a hayride at Eva School on Sept. 24 at 6:30 p.m., followed by a community singing event on Sept. 26 at 7 p.m. The main event-a full day of fun-will take place on Sept. 28, from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m., featuring a parade, antique tractor show, car show, craft vendors, baking contests and live music.
Admission to Eva Frontier Days is free, with a nominal $1 fee for the hayride. Whether you’re a longtime resident or a first-time visitor, this beloved event offers a perfect opportunity to experience the charm and camaraderie of small-town life.
Don’t miss out on this chance to celebrate tradition and community at Eva Frontier Days.
