Visitation for Delbert Barto, 60, of Hartselle was Monday, August 26, 2024, from 2-4 p.m. at Peck Funeral Home. Mr. Barto, who was born June 7, 1964, in West Virginia to Robert Barto and Louise Elanor Goff Barto, died on Friday, August 23, 2024, at his home.
A private graveside service was held at Hartselle City Cemetery. Mr. Barto loved chocolate and peanut butter, fishing, Alabama football, working crossword puzzles and collecting model cars. He was preceded in death by his parents; a brother, Robert Barto and a sister, Robin Henderson.
Survivors include his Wife, Vonda Barto; four sons, Curtis Eastman (Kob’e), Michael Stewart, Brian Stewart (Amy), and DJ Barto (Kelly); two daughters, Selena Barto and Amanda Campbell (David); two brothers, Doyne Barto (Kim) and Charles Stewart (Carla); two sisters, Peggy Barto and Linda Fulmer (Tinker); and eight grandchildren. Dale Herrington, Skylar Hopkins, Justin Powell, Zack Wills, Brian Stewart and Lane Romine will serve as pallbearers.
