Brian Keith Bishop
Passed away unexpectedly on August 4, 2024, in Panama City, Panama at age 50. He was born on November 12, 1973, 1973, in Chattanooga, Tennessee. He leaves behind his two children, Christopher Brian Bishop and Sophia Freda Bishop and their mother Hristina Bishop; his parents, Keith Wells Bishop and Barbara Parsons Bishop; sisters, Traci Madina Bishop and Romela Asher; two uncles, Sammy D. Parsons and Lyndon W. Parsons. Brian graduated from Hartselle High School in 1992. While in school he served as an officer for the Key Club for the State of Alabama. He loved playing his guitar and played in the jazz band. Brian studied at the University of Montevallo his freshman year, then transferred to USA in Mobile and graduated with the Bachelor of Science degree in business. He obtained his pilot license while in Mobile. After graduating from USA he served in the Peace Corps and Tashkent, Uzbekistan. After returning to the states, he attended the University of Dubuque and received his Masters in finance. His career was with the United Department of State serving with the Embassies in the Ivory Coast, Bulgaria, Austria, Senegal and Jordan. Brian was preceded in death by his grandparents, Donald W. Parsons and Lyda Rhodes Parsons and Spencer Hilliard Bishop and Freda McDonald Bishop.
Per his will, his ashes will be scattered in the Gulf of Mexico and arrangements are currently being made. For life and death are one, even as the river and sea one.
