Leroy Hogan
Hartselle Funeral service and Celebration of Life for Leroy Hogan, 75, will be Tuesday, August 6, 2024, at 1:00 PM at Peck Funeral Home Chapel with Friends to speak and Peck Funeral Home directing. Burial will be in Johnson Chapel Cemetery.
Mr. Hogan passed away on Sunday, July 28, 2024, at his residence. He was born July 4, 1949, in Morgan County, to Loyal Hogan and Willodean Hampton Hogan. He was a self-employed truck driver, who never met a stranger. He was a loving husband, father and grandfather, whose laughter could be heard from across a room. He loved the outdoors, especially fishing with family, enjoyed visiting with old friends often, but his favorite weekends were spent cheering for his grandson at the baseball fields. He was loved and will be missed.
Survivors include his wife, Phyllis Hogan; son, Lee Hogan; daughters, Casey Hogan Bomar (Shad) and Tina Hogan Walter (Eric); sisters, Janice Long (Oneal) and Dianne Appleton; four grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
Pallbearers will be Jake Wilbourn, Eric Walter, John Appleton, Jessie Posey, Ronnie Asherbranner and Jerry Mayfield.
Honorary Pallbearers will be Jackie Burgess, Roger Boggess, Paul Hogan, Gregg Holladay, Harold Mashburn and Joey Parker.
