Decatur A Graveside Funeral service and Interment for Charlotte Eddy Hamilton, 78, will be Wednesday, August 7, 2024, at 1:30 PM at Hartselle City Cemetery with Bro. Michael Gunter officiating and Peck Funeral Home directing.
Mrs. Hamilton died on Sunday, August 4, 2024, at Decatur Morgan Hospital. She was born December 4, 1945, in Morgan County, to Arthur Clarence Eddy and Jennie V. Blackmon. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother, who loved her family, listening to gospel music and drinking her Dr. Pepper. She was a homemaker for her family and cared for them deeply. Preceding her in death were her husband, Garrold Hamilton, her parents, and siblings, Buford, Truman, Refford and Billy Ray Eddy, Hazel Criss and Mary Elizabeth Strickland. Survivors include her son, Richard Hamilton (Tonya); brother, Dillard Eddy; grandchildren, Ashley Hamilton, Emily Campbel (Matthew); one greatgrandchild, Bennett Campbel.
Pallbearers will be family and friends.
