Hartselle Health Fair for seniors set for Friday
The Hartselle Health Fair, an annual event aimed at adults aged 55 and older, is scheduled for July 19 from 9 to 11 a.m. at the Sparkman Civic Center, located at 406 Nance Ford Rd.
For the past 12 years, this event has brought together the community to focus on the health and well-being of seniors. All proceeds from exhibitors and sponsors are reinvested into the community, with funds used to purchase needed and wanted items for Morgan County Senior Centers, according to event coordinator Kelly McIntyre. McIntyre said a portion of the funds raised will be donated to Meals on Wheels of Morgan County.
The health fair will feature various activities, including games, music and door prizes. Attendees can also visit exhibitor booths and enjoy refreshments. This year’s theme is “Disney Through the Years”.
