More I-65 paving planned for next week

HUNTSVILLE — Alabama Department of Transportation crews will continue maintenance paving on Interstate 65 southbound in Morgan County next week.

Motorists are advised to expect delays due to single-lane closures Feb. 13-15, from 8 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. daily. If weather permits, some paving may also take place on Monday, though currently, rain is forecast.

Crews will pave to repair areas of I-65 southbound between Exit 328 (Alabama 36) in Hartselle and Exit 322 (County Road 55) in Falkville. They will be working Tuesday from Exit 328 to the Parker Road overpass, Wednesday south of Exit 325 (Thompson Road) and Thursday north of Exit 322.
