Coroner: Morgan County man found dead in house fire

An early morning house fire Jan. 31 along Union Hill Road, in the Union Grove neighborhood, claimed the life of a Morgan County man, according to the Morgan County coroner. 

Coroner Jeff Chunn said Thomas Bradley O’Barr, 34, was found deceased at the residence when authorities responded at around 1:32 a.m. 

The Brindlee Mountain Volunteer Fire Department and the Lacey’s Spring Volunteer Fire Department put out the fire, Chunn said.
