Lady Bulldogs win two at the beach

The Priceville Lady Bulldogs took a pre-Christmas trip to Gulf Shores for three games with out-of-state opponents Pine Forest (FL), New Site (MS) and Rutherford (FL). The Lady Bulldogs defeated Pine Forest and New Site before falling to Rutherford in the finale.

Abby Langlois continued her dominant play in leading Priceville to victory. She had a triple-double on Monday before finishing with a double-double on Tuesday. She has compiled six double-doubles this season heading into the Christmas break.

Priceville 82, Pine Forest (FL) 76

The Lady Bulldogs found themselves in a battle with Pine Forest (FL), winning 82-75 in double overtime. Priceville outscored Pine Forest 12-6 in the second overtime to get the win.

Langlois finished with her first career triple-double with a career-high 35 points, 15 rebounds and 10 blocks for the Bulldogs. Gracin Prater added 19 points, while Lillyan Bloodworth added 15 points, six rebounds and four assists.

Priceville 70, New Site (MS) 29

Priceville shook off a slow start and ran away with a 70-29 win over New Site (MS). They led 14-12 after the first quarter before taking a 42-18 lead into halftime. The Lady Bulldogs defense held New Site to 11 points in the second half.

Langlois once again led the way with 25 points and 11 rebounds. Ashlyn Johnson added 19 points, six assists and four rebounds, while Prater had eight points, four assists and three rebounds.

Rutherford (FL) 48, Priceville 38

The Lady Bulldogs fell 48-38 to Rutherford (FL) on the final day of their trip to the beach. Rutherford led 19-11 after the first quarter and 33-24 at halftime.

Langlois had her third double-double of the trip with 15 points and 10 rebounds with two steals. Johnson added 12 points and four rebounds.
