Lady Tigers pick up three wins to improve to 13-6

The Hartselle Lady Tigers improved to 13-6 after winning matches over West Morgan, Madison Academy and Athens this past week. Here is a look at some standouts from the matches.

Tuesday
The Lady Tigers defeated West Morgan 2-0 and Madison Academy 2-1 in a tri-match at Madison Academy.

Amber Holshouser: 18 assists, five aces, four kills, four digs
Mary Hannah Boyer: Seven kills
Ashley Holshouser: Eight digs and six kills
Lilly Douglass: Six kills
Virginia Kate Hoyle: Eight digs and three aces

Thursday
Hartselle defeated Athens 3-2 in a tight contest match on Athens’ home floor.

Ashley Holshouser: 14 digs and 12 kills
Lilly Douglass: 13 kills
Mary Frances Itsede: Eight kills and seven digs
Katie Gillott: Nine kills and five digs

Priceville
The Lady Bulldogs defeated West Limestone 3-2 to open area play on Tuesday but dropped two matches on Thursday to Jasper (0-2) and Brewer (0-2).

Abby Langlois: 45 kills and 12 digs
Ashlyn Johnson: 73 assists and 28 digs
Maddi Kennedy: 29 digs
Rachael Rotermund: 12 digs and 11 assists
Emmy Sherwood: 27 kills
