Hartselle Enquirer

Local author to hold book signing

Special to the Enquirer

Local author Leah Roberts Beach will hold a book signing Sept. 2 from 1-3 p.m. at RAW Images studio, located at 113 Sparkman St., Hartselle. Beach, a Hartselle native and 2014 graduate of Hartselle High School, recently published her debut novel entitled To Those Who Wait.

To Those Who Wait is a contemporary romance that follows Lexa Chase as she discovers what’s missing in her life after being in love with the same person for a decade.

Lexa Chase loves her life in Savannah, surrounded by friends and her surrogate family. She loves her job, her apartment and her cat. The only thing missing? The love of her life.

Drew Parker has gotten a new promotion, has two great roommates and is living his best bachelor life in Dallas. So why does he feel so unfulfilled without someone to share his life with?

Star-crossed no longer, they are reunited at the wedding of Ansley Parker, Drew’s little sister and Lexa’s best friend. Are they going to be able to see it through this time, or will circumstances rip them apart again?

The book can be purchased on Amazon. For more information, contact Susan Curnel at 256-318-8854.

Beach attended the University of Alabama, obtaining her Bachelors of Science in Nursing and falling more in love with reading. When not working in the ER, coaching high school soccer or writing, Leah can be found curled up in her home library with her face buried in a book. Her favorite genres are fantasy, romance and thriller, not necessarily always in that order. Beach is currently working on making her debut novel into a series.
