Danville Neel Elementary School PTO leaders ready to serve for 2023
By Martha Jackson
As the new school year approaches, the Danville Neel Elementary School Parent-Teacher Organization (PTO) is gearing up for another fantastic year of supporting the school and its students. The 2023 PTO leaders have been announced, and they are eager to make a positive impact on the school community.
Leading the PTO this year is Whitney Morgan, who holds the position of president. Whitney is not only a dedicated parent, but she is also an active member of the community. Married and a mother of two little girls, she finds joy in helping with local youth sports and cheerleading events. Additionally, Whitney actively participates in her local church, making a difference in the lives of others. With her enthusiasm and commitment, she is excited to lead the PTO towards accomplishing great things.
Taking on the role of vice president is Haley Terry, a devoted wife and mother of two active boys. Haley expresses gratitude for being able to raise her children in the same close-knit town where she and her husband grew up and graduated. Embracing her love for the community, she can often be found cheering on the kids during sports events and assisting with educational activities such as reading and math support. Haley’s involvement with First Priority reflects her dedication to instilling positive values in the younger generation.
Serving as the PTO secretary is Ashley Lawrence, a proud mother of three. Born and raised in the Hartselle/Danville area, Ashley has deep roots in the community. She remains actively engaged in various activities and is passionate about working with children and youth. Her commitment extends to her home church, Enon Baptist, where she contributes her time and energy to make a positive impact.
Lastly, the Falkville Public Library extends heartfelt thanks to everyone who participated in their Summer Reading program. The library acknowledges the tremendous support from community members who attended and brought their kids, making the program a resounding success.
As the school year approaches and community activities flourish, these dedicated individuals and organizations are setting the stage for a year of growth, learning, and community engagement. Let’s join hands and support them in their endeavors for a brighter future.
