Hartselle’s Howard signs with Wallace State baseball

Hartselle senior Greyson Howard will continue his baseball career after signing with the Wallace State Community College baseball program.

Howard was a first baseman and pitcher for the Tigers and coach William Booth. He played a valuable role in the Tiger’s run to the 2022 state championship and in their return to the quarterfinals this season.

He finished with 30 hits, 23 RBI and 19 runs scored during the 2023 season. He also finished 4-0 on the mound, striking out 32 in 28.1 innings.

Howard will play head coach Randy Putman, who has coached Wallace State for more than 30 years. The Lions play in the Alabama Community College Conference North Division.
