Hartselle football hosts annual spring camp

Coach Bryan Moore and the Hartselle Tigers football program welcomed more than 150 youth campers to their annual spring football camp this past week.

The camp had to move indoors this year due to the weather, but it didn’t slow the camp or the campers down.

Guest instructors included Patrick Lenoir, a former University of Tennessee offensive lineman, Josh Pearson, a former Austin and Jax State wide receiver who played in the CFL, Max Staver, a former University of Florida quarterback and Zac Fletcher, a former University of Alabama wide receiver and current wide receivers coach at Hartselle.

“What an incredible turnout we had with over 150 kids in attendance,” Moore said. “These kids came to Hartselle to be coached by former NFL and college players. It was a cool experience for the kids and one they will remember. Hartselle is a special place where we all try to pour into our community and make kids better people and players.”

Moore and his staff continue to build the Hartselle program by teaching every age group from elementary to high school.
