Standouts of the week

Boys

AJ Holladay, Danville: Holladay finished with 29 points in the Hawk’s 62-61 win over Addison and had 19 points in a 60-51 loss to Priceville.

Sammy Holmes, Priceville: Holmes scored 27 points, hitting six 3-pointers, in a 56-55 loss to East Limestone and had 18 points in a 60-51 win over Danville.

Cole Lindeman, Priceville: Lindeman scored 23 points in a 60-51 win over Danville.

Austyn Holmes, Brewer: Holmes finished with 16 points in a 56-45 loss to New Hope.

Thomas Itsede, Hartselle: Finished with 14 points in a 51-50 win over Cullman and had 10 points and eight rebounds in a 49-44 win over Jasper.

Ryan Dunn, Hartselle: Dunn finished with 13 points and seven assists and hit the game-winning shot with less than two seconds remaining in a 51-50 win over Cullman.

Kiah Key, Hartselle: Key finished with his fifth double-double, 11 points and 10 rebounds, in a 49-44 win over Jasper.

Girls

Mary Frances Itsede, Hartselle: Itsede finished with 14 points and 10 rebounds in a 45-30 loss to Jasper.

Leslie Hames, Priceville: Hames scored 19 points in Priceville’s 66-24 win over Danville and 16 points in their 61-47 win over Arab.

Jacey Atkinson, Brewer: Atkinson scored a season-high 21 points in a 66-42 win over Brindlee Mountain.

Lilly Yancey, Brewer: Yancey scored 17 points in a 44-42 loss to West Morgan while scoring 13 points in a 66-42 win over Brindlee Mountain.

Ellie Cate Hill, Falkville: Hill scored 17 points in the Lady Blue Devils’ 42-32 win over St. Bernard.

Gracie Hill, Hartselle: Hill finished with 14 points in Hartselle’s 45-34 win over Cullman.
