Girls basketball: Lady Bulldogs dominate Danville, Arab

Priceville 66, Danville 24

Priceville picked up their second win over Danville this past week with a 66-24 victory on the road. The Bulldogs led 38-13 at halftime.

Leslie Hames finished with 19 points to lead Priceville (16-7). Lauren Hames added 18 points, while Abby Langlois had 12 points and nine rebounds.

Adily Alberti scored 10 points to lead Danville.

New Hope 55, Brewer 27
Kassidy Whisenant finished with eight points to lead Brewer in their loss to New Hope.

Eevy Bellar finished with 13 points to lead New Hope.

Thursday
Brewer 66, Brindlee Mountain 42

The Lady Patriots picked up their fifth win in a 66-42 victory over Brindlee Mountain. Brewer trailed 29-24 at the half but outscored the Lady Lions 42-13 in the second half.

Jacey Atkinson finished with 21 points to lead Brewer. Lilly Yancey added 13 points and eight rebounds, while Madisyn Freeman scored 11.

Autumn Abernathy scored 13 to lead Brindlee Mountain.

Falkville 42, St. Bernard 32
Ellie Cate Hill finished with 17 points, five steals and four rebounds to lead Falkville to a 42-32 win over St. Bernard. Abbey Grace Tomlin added nine points, eight rebounds, five assists, while Kenya Roberson had eight points and seven rebounds.

Ella Davis scored 13 points to lead St. Bernard.

Tuesday
Priceville 61, Arab 47

Priceville used a huge second half to get a 61-47 win over Arab to split the season series. The Lady Bulldogs outscored the Lady Knights 38-18 in the second half after trailing 29-23 at the half.

Leslie Hames finished with 16 points to lead Priceville. Ashlyn Johnson added 13 points, while Gracin Prater and Zoey Benson added eight points each.

Bennett Elrod scored 18 points to lead Arab.

Decatur Heritage 58, Falkville 33
Falkville dropped to 2-4 in area play following a 58-33 loss to Decatur Heritage. The Lady Blue Devils trailed 19-17 at halftime.

West Morgan 44, Brewer 42
Brewer dropped a two-point decision to West Morgan in a 44-42 loss.

Lilly Yancey finished with 17 to lead Brewer, while Chloe Romine added 10.

Haniyah Standridge finished with 18 points to lead West Morgan.

Monday
East Limestone 57, Priceville 39

The Lady Bulldogs fell 57-39 to East Limestone after being outscored 37-13 in the second half.

Leslie Hames finished with eight points to lead Priceville, while Ashlyn Johnson and Lauren Hames scored seven points each.

Tyjah Duncan scored 14 points to lead East Limestone.
